The most hard wearing type of carpet would be an 80/20 twist. 80% wool and 20% man made.

Wool carpets can be cleaned by a professional with knowledge about carpets and their cleaning products but household cleaning products are likely to stain. Man made carpets are widely advertised as bleach cleanable meaning they can be spot cleaned at home but we always recommend testing on an inconspicuous area first.

We have a selection of underlays available 8mm, 10mm and 11mm thick. The best underlay is Cloud 9 cumulus with its high thermal and decibel ratings that provide excellent comfort and longevity.
