Our expert preparation is essential
We prepare our artificial lawns by removing the top layer of existing grass
We then create a wooden frame and fill it with sharp sand, ensuring it is compacted until it is hard enough to walk on. Then it is covered with a weed membrane ready for the artificial grass to be laid on top.

Artificial lawns are 90% maintenance free. You may get the odd weed appearing in the middle if a seed drops and geminates, or around the edge of your garden. But these can be very easily pulled out in a matter of seconds.

We sometimes use type 1 during preparation if your garden requires major levelling but usually a strong bed of sharp sand is enough.
